Cylinders are required to be recertified every 12 years, but with the regular refurbishing and inspection with Northwest’s process, your assets last their expected life span and are recertification-ready longer.
US and Canadian cylinders: We do it all
Northwest is a designated cylinder recertifier of both US and Canadian tanks, as required by US Department of Transportation, Transport Canada and The Canadian Gas Association regulations – including hydrotesting and external visual inspection.
DOT cylinder welding certified
If your cylinder does not meet recertification requirements, Northwest has DOT-certified welders who can make necessary repairs to get it through the recertification process.
